Verturo Construction would like to share some masonry installation tips when working on your own home.

Step 1: Be sure to work on a solid surface. It is very important for the brick, stone, or wood to adhere properly to the existing surface.

Step 2: Clean and smooth away the existing foundation.

Step 3: Once the surface has been prepared, install wall ties for each square foot of the area. You can secure the wall ties with screws or nails.

Step 4: Start the installation process. Some materials, such as stone veneer, may be applied directly on to the clean surface.
