Some homes are equipped with sprinkler systems.

See operators’ manual for detailed instructions on setting the timer and adjusting the sprinkler heads. The timer control box is mounted in the garage on the wall adjacent to the GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) outlet. Take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the controls. The main control valve is located in the yard near the sidewalk. It is encased in a black plastic conduit with a circular green lid. Inside you will find the main shut off valve for the sprinkler system. Seasonal maintenance would include shutting off the sprinkler control valve while not in use during the winter months. The rectangular boxes with the green lids are valve stations and the systems backflow device.
